CAD TECHNICIAN

Responsible for creating roadway design, site development, utility plans and survey plats. Experience is not required. We are willing to train someone with CAD skills, a willingness to learn, and a good work ethic.

 

Requirements: AAS degree in Computer Aided Drafting or Drafting Certificate, an AAS degree in Civil Engineering Technology, or experience, and demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD 2006 or MicroStation XM.

 

CIVIL DESIGNER

Responsible for creating detailed cad drawing including roadways, site layout, grading, soil erosion, detention basin design, storm sewer, water main, sanitary sewer plans. Assist engineers with preparation of associated calculations, reports and specifications.

 

Requirements: AAS degree in Civil Engineering Technology, or any combination of experience and coursework in civil engineering, and demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD 2006 or MicroStation XM.

 

CIVIL ENGINEER

Responsible for creating detailed designs including roadways, site layout, grading, soil erosion, detention basin design, storm sewer, water main, sanitary sewer, as well as preparation of all associated calculations, reports and specifications. Must have the ability to assist with project submittals, agency approvals, and assisting in obtaining construction permits.

Requirements: BS or MS in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology, EIT Certification, excellent communications and project management skills, demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD 2006 or MicroStation XM, end experience in Autodesk Civil 3D, LDD Software or Bentley’s InRoads preferred.

SURVEY PARTY CHIEF

Perform boundary, topographical, construction stakeout and as-built surveys.

 

Requirements: Excellent leadership skills, ability to work with contractors, history of plat development and valid VA drivers license.

 

SURVEY INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

Work as part of a crew that performs boundary, topographical, construction stakeout and as-built surveys.

 

Requirements: Experience using survey and data collection instruments.

 

TV INSPECTION TECHNICIAN

Perform TV inspections of sanitary and storm sewer lines.

 

Requirements: Experience using CCTV inspection equipment and NASSCO certification desired, but not required.
